I was born and raised in a small town in southern Louisiana. There I received most of my knowledge about life and the world around me. Hoping to seek new adventures and an escape from my home town I entered Northwestern State University. After a few years I received my degree in Graphic Communications. I moved from Louisiana to Kansas. I worked for two and a half years at Gear for Sports in Lenexa Ks, as a Graphic Artist. Realizing that my education was not complete I entered Graduate school at The University of Arizona where I obtained my Masters of Fine Arts in Studio Art. Recently I held a position at West Virginia State University as an Assistant Professor of Art, teaching Art Appreciation, Foundations, and Computer Graphic classes. In conjunction with the aforementioned classes, I taught the intermediate and advanced components of Drawing and Digital Design. Currently I am an Adjunct Instructor/Gallery Assistant at Marshall University. |
